Deacons of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church are very interested in serving people in their church family and the community in a way outlined by the church constitution and described by God's Holy word.

The church constitution outlines the responsibilities of a Deacon as follows:

"Deacons are servants of the church. The deacons are responsible for serving with the pastor and staff in performing pastoral ministry tasks; proclaiming the Gospel to believers and unbelievers; caring for church members and other persons in the community; leading the church to engage in a fellowship of worship, witness, education, ministry, and application; and assist in the resolution of church problems and in the promotion of harmony."

The Deacons at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church Church want to minister to each member's needs. Each has been assigned a Deacon in the Family Ministry Plan. If you have needs that the Deacons could assist with, feel free to contact the Deacon of the week or your assigned Deacon.
