What is Revolution Student Ministries?
Revolution Student Ministries is made up of the 6th thru 12 Grade Students at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church. The students are led by our Youth Minister, Bro. Matt Hall, in life-changing Bible study and praise & worship to experience the awesome power of Jesus Christ.
"Reflect" meets each Sunday morning @ 9:30 a.m. and is a time for small group studies of the bible and learning how to apply God's Word to their daily lives.
"Revolution" meets on Wednesday evenings @ 6 p.m. for a time of praise, worship, fun, and fellowship as well as studing God's Word and how to make it revelant in their own lives as well as sharing with the other people in their lives.
At McKinley, we know that in order for our youth to "do big things" that God has in store for them, the bar MUST be set high. These youth are loaded with potential and it is our job to help them find the gifts that God has blessed each of them with and help them to use those gifts to the best ability.
1 Timothy 4: 12-16: "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."
