Jesus came to give eternal life.

> Just as bread gives nourishment and life to our physical bodies, Jesus came as Savior to give life to the world.
> Jesus isn’t just any bread, He is the bread of God.
> Jesus came to give life so that those who ate of “His bread” would never be hungry again.
> Jesus came to do God’s will.
> His Father’s will was to provide life for all people.
> Jesus came not just to give life, but to give eternal life.
> The only way to have eternal life is through a personal relationship with Jesus.

Why did Jesus do miracles?

Jesus revealed who He was by His great works.
TALKING POINTS
> Jesus performed many miracles to help people know who He was.
> When Jesus performed miracles, He ministered to people where they were which allowed them to see Him for who He is.
> By performing miracles, Jesus allowed people to see the authority that had been given to Him by God.
> Ultimately, performing miracles allowed people to see Jesus as the Messiah.
> Not seeing Jesus as the Messiah meant not seeing Him as Savior.
> Jesus performed miracles to prove He is the Savior of the world.

Why do I need to know Jesus?
THE POINT
Jesus is your only hope for life.
TALKING POINTS
> People today put their hope in a variety of things.
> There is nothing that gives hope other than Jesus.
> Putting my hope solely in Jesus will allow me to see God.
> Jesus is the only way to God. Putting our hope elsewhere is no good.
> Putting our hope in the things of this world will fail us.
> Putting hope in Jesus secures our future in Him and with Him.

Lord of All
Luke 9:23-26
THE QUESTION
What does it mean for Jesus to be the Lord of my life?
THE POINT
You must totally surrender your life to Him.
TALKING POINTS
> For Jesus to be Lord of your life, you must first learn what it means to totally surrender.
> Allowing Jesus to be Lord of your life means abandoning your selfish ways.
> Allowing Jesus to be Lord of your life means purposely choosing to follow Him on a daily basis.
> Choosing to follow Jesus as Lord will ultimately cost you everything you have.
> If Jesus is going to be Lord of all in your life, it means learning to sacrifice.
> Sacrifice means giving up ownership of your life and allowing Jesus to own it.
> No matter what the opposition is, if He is Lord of your life you will not be afraid to show it.
